Artist statement

I am interested in how materials intersect with personal and collective experiences. My practice often begins with acts of recording, noticing, marking, photographing; but I treat these acts more as observations on how meaning can shift over time.
I am drawn to processes that resist clarity, that accumulate traces, or that remain unfinished—situations in which the material itself reveals its own instability.
I work through repetition, layering, and reworking, allowing the pieces to constantly move. In this way, the work becomes a site where knowledge, memory, and perception remain in flux.
